1. In the budget view, I select the lines for which I want to create additions/modifications:

2. In the next step, I press the button "Add a new modification":

3. In the following window, these fields must be filled in:

Job number - This is the sequence number of the modification. You can set it yourself or use the automatic numbering provided by Bauwise. For this example, I use automatic numbering.

Type - It is possible to specify the type of modification. It also provides the ability to filter modifications, nothing else depends on it. Types can be changed/set by pressing the "Manage types" button. In this example, the type is Client.

Description - Description of the content of the modification.

Date - The date of the modification.

4. Next, a window will open, where the modification procedure is carried out.

Explanations of the columns of the additions and modifications table:

Subcontract - This column shows which contract the selected work belongs to. In this case, it is the contract "001 Design works".

Job code - Shows which job code it is.

Name - Shows which name corresponds to the job code.

Comment - It is possible to add a comment to the line.

Unit - Unit of work.

Quantity - Quantity of work.

Unit price - The unit price of the work.

Budget - Direct cost/target budget for work.

Income/Client's contract - Income received from the Client for the work, sales price.

Subcontractor budget - The cost of the subcontract, i.e. the amount we pay to the Subcontractor for the execution of the given work. This cell cannot be filled in if the modification is done for the work under "Unsigned contracts"!

Eelpool kirjeldatud kuute viimast veergu kuvatakse tabelis kolmes moodulis: The last six columns described before are displayed in the table in three modules:

Current budget - Shows the current budget. It is not possible to change it.

Budget change +/- - In this module you can describe the volume of the budget change, i.e. in this module you write the costs by which the direct cost/target budget changes, the cost of the Customer's contract, or the selling price, and the cost of the Subcontract, or the fee paid to the Customer for the given work. All the numbers that are written in this module are added to the numbers in the Current Budget module, resulting in the New Budget.

New budget - The cost of the new budget can be described in this module. The numbers of the Current Budget module are calculated from the numbers written here, and as a result, the volume of the budget change is obtained.

Example 1: In the "Budget change +/-" module, I write 500 EUR in the line of the construction budget, 600 EUR in the line of the customer's budget and 400 EUR in the line of the subcontractor's budget. The same numbers are added to the "Current budget" and the "New budget" is obtained:

Example 2: I write 2000 EUR in the construction budget line, 2500 EUR in the customer's budget line and 1500 EUR in the subcontractor's budget line in the "New budget" module. "Current budget" is subtracted from these numbers and "Budget change +/-" is obtained:

Most typically, "Current budget" and "New budget" are hidden from the column selection module, and only the "Budget change +/- module" is used. In 99.9% of cases, it is necessary to process changes, not to enter a new budget.

To get to the column selection view, click the following button and remove the checkmark from the names of the columns you do not want to see:

5. If the change numbers have been described, press the "Confirm additions" button after which the modification has been added to the budget:

6. All added modifications are visible in the "Additions and modifications" module.

Status explanations:

Pending - Additions and modifications are in the preparation stage. Lines of additions and modifications are not reflected in the budget.

Sent for confirmation - Additions and modification work has been sent to the Customer. Lines of additions and modifications are not reflected in the budget.

Confirmed - Additions and modifications have been confirmed by the Client. Additions and modifications are reflected in the budget.

Rejected - Additional and change work has been rejected by the Client. Additional and modification work is not reflected in the budget.

All - All additions and modifications are visible, regardless of status.

Explanations of the columns of the additions and modifications table:

Open modification work - By clicking on the folder, it is possible to open additional and modification works and see their contents. A new window will open.

Type - By adding modification works, you can specify their type and sort based on it.

Job No. - Determined by adding a modification work or using automatic numbering.

Description - Description of the content of the modification work.

Date - The date of the modification.

Cost estimate - Cost estimate of the work to be done to implement the modification work (direct cost/target budget).

Status - The status of the change job (pending, sent for confirmation, confirmed, rejected).

7. If you want to change or delete the added modification, you have to open the modification and mark it as "Pending". At the moment when the modification is placed in "Pending" status, the modification is taken out of the budget.
